As mentioned briefly above, Fitness Fiber is made using 6 separate fiber sources.

Polydextrose is a soluble fiber that is often used to replace sugar, thus reducing calories and fat in foods, it was FDA approved in 1981.

Inulin is a plant fiber that is used to store energy and reduce starch.

Guar Gum and Gum Arabic are used as binding and thickening agents. They will help thicken your food so that you are filled quicker.

Psyllium Seed Husks are soluble in water and work as colon cleansing agents that also assist in better blood circulation.

Also included is Fibersol-2, which we were unable to find information on.

These are all made from natural sources in the hopes that zero side-effects will be present. This has been the case so far. We have been unable to locate any reports of negative side-effects.

Approval Rating

As you can see we were only able to find FDA approval on one of the ingredients, however, it is rare that the FDA will go to the trouble of approving dietary supplements and their ingredients.

On a good note, Fitness Fiber comes highly approved by consumers. The overall rating according to on review site was 4.5 of 5 stars and users say they love that this product is tasteless and versatile, meaning they can add it to drinks, shakes and even cereals .

This product has not been FDA approved, nor were we able to find any clinical trials or research studies performed on it. However, this doesn’t mean that it doesn’t work as promised.

The retail price for a 6.87 oz. container of Fitness Fiber is between $4.87 and $9.99 meaning it can be purchased and tried without the worry of having to spend a lot of money for an unproven product. Based on ingredients and consumer reviews we would recommend giving this product a try.
